She also hosts the “Ex Appeal” podcast, featured in the New York Post and on The View.
And of course she’s an actor, improviser, and writer, cause… LA baby.

Micro Timeline
Miriam Katz studied comparative literature at Columbia University
She worked at Artforum magazine for many years.
And organized comedy shows and panels at MoMA PS1, NY, and Silencio, Paris.
She got her Master’s in art history at Hunter College.
Then studied acting at The Barrow Group and improv at UCB in NYC.
And later acting at Beverly Hills Playhouse and improv at Groundlings and UCB in LA.
She has been in many films, video games, and commercials (two for Chili’s— she loves those curly fries).
Katz wrote about comedy for the LA Times.
Present day: Miriam Katz teaches public speaking to people at institutions and companies including MIT, Fundamental Media, Brooklyn Delhi, and Google. It’s heaven. Take a free twenty minute class with her.
